PrivacyPolicy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Kids.Day collects, how we use it, and how families can contact us about privacy choices.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate Kids.Day, provide account access, support subscriptions, deliver reading content, and keep the service reliable.

  • Account identifiers, such as the user ID associated with a Kids.Day account.
  • Sign-in information from Apple or Google, such as account identifiers and authentication tokens used to verify login.
  • Subscription information, such as App Store product IDs, transaction IDs, membership status, purchase state, and expiration dates.
  • App and device information used for security, diagnostics, crash reporting, language selection, and service reliability.
  • Reading and app usage information needed to provide content access, membership features, reading history, favorites, and customer support.
  • Support messages and contact information when a user contacts us directly.

2. How We Use Information

  • To create, authenticate, secure, and maintain user sessions.
  • To provide reading content, membership features, reading progress, favorites, and subscription access.
  • To process purchase verification, restore purchases, and sync membership status across Kids.Day systems.
  • To localize the app experience and support WebView-based reading pages.
  • To diagnose crashes, service errors, account issues, and subscription issues.
  • To respond to support requests, prevent abuse, protect service security, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Children and Family Use

Kids.Day is designed for family reading scenarios. Parents or legal guardians should create and manage accounts, sign-in methods, subscriptions, device settings, screen time, content choices, and support requests for children who use the app.

We do not knowingly ask children to directly provide contact details for marketing purposes. If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in a way that requires additional parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information or obtain appropriate consent where required by applicable law.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with a child where required by applicable law.

4. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

We do not sell personal information, use personal information for third-party advertising, or track users across apps and websites owned by other companies. We may use app, device, and service information to maintain security, diagnose service issues, measure reliability, and improve Kids.Day.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Kids.Day subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment processing, billing, cancellation, and refund tools. Kids.Day receives subscription status and transaction information needed to unlock membership features, restore purchases, and verify membership status with our service.

6. Third-Party Services

We use service providers to operate Kids.Day, including Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store subscriptions, Google for Google Sign-In, hosting providers, and backend service providers that support authentication, membership, security, diagnostics, and app delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us or to the user.

7. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers when needed to operate Kids.Day, comply with law, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, process subscription status, or complete a user-requested support action.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Kids.Day, maintain accounts and subscriptions, preserve reading state, resolve support requests, comply with legal obligations, process security events, and protect the service. We may retain limited records where required for billing, audit, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

9. Privacy Choices

Users, parents, or legal guardians may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy choices where required by applicable law. App Store subscriptions must be managed through the user's Apple account settings. Deleting a Kids.Day account or the app does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kids.Day changes. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, this website, or another appropriate channel.
